The Law Society has granted a formal waiver to all LawAlliance firms in respect of the provision of an Independent Legal Opinion (ILO) when dealing with IR:BICS route 1 cases that allows the client care letter and Referral & Introduction Code information to be provided at the time the ILO is supplied and not at the earlier time of receipt of the instruction.

This is further tangible evidence of the backing of the Law Society for the InterResolve scheme. As the preamble to the formal grant states, the waiver is "for the purpose of facilitating access to expedited and independent, tailored legal advice."
