New claims business – new funded and insured claims

LawAlliance is being revived and is working on the sourcing of new/additional business for its members with a streamlined process compatible with current and all new market developments. This new claims scheme is currently in development and at piloting stage (see below).

The package includes funding and claims insurance to cover acquisition and other claims costs. It can be worked in with your existing suppliers as well as through us working with you to source new suppliers.

The scheme involves LawAlliance clearing liability issues with insurers prior to law firms being retained so that there is minimal work involved, facilities for electronic inter-party processing of claims, minimal or no outlay and maximum profit.

Qualifying law firms will now get:

1. Access to new business with a unique package of funding and other benefits
2. Insurance for all claim outlays so that there is never a financial risk, even if the claim is ultimately unsuccessful
3. Claims post-admission of liability by insurers, wherever possible
4. An electronic online platform for inter-party processing with:

        •    faster turnaround from retention to settlement

        •    speeded up medical reports following claimants achieving a stable medical prognosis

        •    telephone mediation to speed up settlement

        •    less capital lockup and higher profitability

        •    Increased capacity and a means of filling it without additional cost
