At the Post Magazine's 2nd Annual Conference on the 12th October, Peter Ashdown-Barr gave a presentation of the BICs scheme and the involvement of LawAlliance to a packed room of workshop attendees as part of a lively debate on all aspects of liability insurance and the changing face personal injury claims handling. 

Simon Goldhill was also on hand to represent InterResolve. as was LawAlliance chairman Chris Lodge. 

Other participants in the scheme such as Alan Strange of LAMP Insurance and Alexander McLoughlin & Jeremy Ellison of AMRO agency Medico-Legal Reporting were among around 100 delegates at the Le Meridien, Piccadilly venue.

Many speakers urged their colleagues in the insurance industry to embrace the need for early claimant assistance as well as highlighting the sector's desire for timely notification of claims - two features built in to the BICS scheme.
